Welcome to the last Sunday in 2023! I pray that Jesus Christ, the gift of God to the world, was lifted high in your home and life this year.
In the past couple of Sundays, we have heard sermons about what Mary and Joseph went through prior to Jesus’ birth, but sermons about what happened to Mary and Joseph after Christmas are pretty rare.
Our text will be from Matthew 2:13-23
If you and I, like Joseph and many others in the Bible, will trust and obey God, our lives will be extraordinary. Our lives will have meaning and purpose.
Let me kindly and lovingly ask: Are you hearing the Holy Spirit within you?
Jer. 29:11 - For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
