Patty and I pray for you all during the Thanksgiving and Christmas Season. May each gathering as family and church be a time of blessing and great fellowship.
Ecclesiastes 3:14 – “I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be forever…”
As I look at the world around us, I rest in the scripture above – what God does is forever!! God send His Son to purchase our salvation, and what He did needs nothing to be added to it to save sinners. Our job is to preach the good news into all the world!! Patty and I thank each of you who have allowed us to be your missionaries for 54 years, sharing the gospel to the Spanish speaking world.
Since March of 2020, I have been preaching each Sunday afternoon on Facebook live into Mexico, Central and South America, as well as others who hear in other areas of the world. God has blessed in this outreach. This year, I have taught through the books of Ephesians and Philippians verse by verse. I am now presenting the Christmas story with all details and persons as they had a part in the coming of our Lord Jesus. Keep praying for lives to be saved and more servants sent out as witnesses!
Since our last letter, several events have occurred that have had an impact on our lives. Patty has had two hospital stays. One was as a result of a possible stroke, and the other because of a fall at home. No stroke was detected, but blockage was discovered in her carotid arteries which produces weakness and tendency to fall asleep at any time. No bones were broken in her fall, but she was very sore for weeks. Concerning the blockage, we are awaiting a second opinion about possible surgery to remove it, as it is almost at the percentage of blockage that needs an operation. Unfortunately, her appointments keep being pushed back, the last until December 7. Please keep her in your prayers for the correct things to be done and as soon as possible.
